I would just like to thank you for making my mother happy through your wonderful music. The first time we saw you play i was 14 in Burton Bradstock and she loved you there and then. Ever since they have often planned their visits to Dorset around you and that has meant that my mom and my step dad got every album from you. I hope you remember them Dick and Tracy from the midlands who wanted to move to Dorset to retire. Unfortunately that dream had to end when my mom passed away last week. "Sunshine in your smile" i think it is, was the song she chose for her funeral, it was what she wanted. So thank you again. I hope to see you play again sometime. Tamsin xx

hello Jim! i am a good friend of Rosie G's! and she took me along to see you and your mandolin/double bass player, Steve is his name? it was at Nailsea folk club at the ring o' bells, and Sam G played with his little folk quartet as well, but yeah i was there and you blew my mind. my favourite songs were those in which you incorporated the blues with mandolin playing, so i hoped you'd maybe guide me to which cd of yours is best!? damn, you are one FINE musician, me and Rosie are hoping to see you again, March 5th!? chris

Hi there Jim. Hope you are keeping well. You may not remember me, it has been a long time since we met (in the days of Geoff and Josie in dear old Kiddi !) I used to attempt to sing and play guitar ! Just messing about on the internet and wondered if you were still playing - obvious from all the lovely comments, you are still giving a lot of pleasure to a lot of people - thats great!. I am still in contact with dear Josie regularly, and just wondered if you ever played up in the midlands? It would be great to hear you again Jim. Hope you dont mind me e-mailing you. Take care. Jill
